The crisis facing nine obstetricians who fear another Bacchus Marsh

Dr Jason Mak is one of nine O&G consultants who have withdrawn non-urgent gynaecological care until staffing levels in their maternity unit are fixed.
The unit at Gosford Hospital in NSW is currently delivering 3500 babies a year but it is on the brink of collapse.
There are similar concerns at the neighbouring Wyong Hospital where the doctors also work.
Amid Australia’s medical crisis, Dr Mak says they are having to make decisions that are as hard as they come.
