Since 1 July, practices can register for the Federal Government’s voluntary patient enrolment scheme before the incentives start flowing later this year. Â
AMA vice-president Dr Danielle McMullen says now is the time for GPs to “understand MyMedicare and to have a look at what it may offer for them and their patients”.
“I would encourage practices to take a look at the process and start discussing how they plan to approach this,” she says.
