Dr Philip Nitschke prepares two-person Sarco pod

Euthanasia advocate and former Australian GP Dr Philip Nitschke says he has 3D-printed the components for a new ‘death pod’ for couples to die together.

Dr Nitschke’s Sarco death pod is a space capsule-like device for people to end their life by pressing a button to release nitrogen gas into the pod, dropping the oxygen level to 1%.
