The Federal Government is tripling bulk-billing incentives as the college requested.
As made clear throughout the run up to this budget, it doesn’t come cheap. It’s $3.5 billion over the forward estimates according to the budget papers.
But it’s the fix for the collapse in bulk-billing rates over the last two years.
