A pathologist and her radiologist husband along with their three young children were among those killed in the Air India crash last week. 

Dr Komi Vyas and Dr Prateek Joshi were flying to the UK with their nine-year-old daughter Miraya, and four-year-old twin sons, Pradyut and Nakul.

Dr Joshi, 43, had originally gone back to Rajasthan to bring his family back with him to the UK where he had worked for four years for the NHS.

Just moments before the plane left the runway, the couple captured a smiling selfie of themselves and the children, images of which have been shared widely on social media.
