UK GP who faked bookings so she could make school pick-up allowed to practise again
A UK GP suspended for creating fake bookings to give her time to collect her children from school has been permitted to return to practice.
Last year, a tribunal found that Dr Helen Eisenhauer, 43, had scheduled face-to-face appointments for two patients she had already consulted over the phone to ensure she would leave on time.
She also falsely wrote in one patient’s record that she had conducted an examination.
A practice partner questioned the bookings, and Dr Eisenhauer eventually referred herself to the General Medical Council and admitted to a tribunal what she had done.
