A leading GP has described Australia's current COVID-19 situation as "like a frog being boiled slowly".

The AMA's Vice President Dr Chris Moy was commenting on lagging third booster uptake, with rates sitting at 70% of eligible adults, according to Federal Government figures for 21 June. 

He told  ABC Radio Sydney on Thursday that this was partly due to
