From BBQ accidents and severe alcoholic hepatitis through to a baby boom, Aussie doctors are sharing what conditions have risen and which ones have fallen during the pandemic.

Doctors reported their experiences on Twitter after Associate Professor Marie Bismark of the University of Melbourne law school asked how COVID-19 was affecting different specialties.

First to respond was GP Dr Kat McLean who said she was enjoying a spike in the number of new antenatal patients, a finding later echoed by a GP registrar:
