Where are the most expensive GPs in Australia?Â

As Medicare funding dominates the media headlines, a survey claims to show the highs and lows of GP fees, with a Level B consultation in one inner-city suburb costing almost $120 on average.
According to the founder of GP fee website Cleanbill, GPs in Woollahra in eastern Sydney charge an average of $117 for a standard consultation.
This means the out-of-pocket cost for patients is nearly $77.
A report by Cleanbill covering 4000 practices in 500 postcodes identifies the second most expensive suburb as Rose Bay in eastern Sydney (average fee $108).
