Why the Delta variant changes the attractions of the AstraZeneca vax

Over the weekend, Professor Peter Doherty took to the airwaves to warn that the Delta variant presented a particular threat to younger Australians.
The Nobel laureate was talking on the ABC following news of the death of Adriana Midori Takara, a 38-year-old with no comorbidities.
Her friends described how her body seemed to “disintegrate” after she was infected.
Other victims of Sydney’s new outbreak include a teenager admitted to ICU along with seven people in their 20s and three people in their 30s.
