Why I believe transgender care should be mainstream general practice

GP Dr Kathleen Wild started treating transgender patients three years ago after developing an interest in gender-affirming care in her final year of registrar training.
She says transgender medicine should be an integral part of general practice and not hidden behind psychiatrists and endocrinologists.
Australian Doctor: How did you get involved in transgender medicine?
Dr Kathleen Wild: It was towards the later part of my registrar training three years ago.
