Another expert clinical committee within the MBS Taskforce Review — this time the pain specialists — is suggesting a new, multidisciplinary MBS care plan item to better support the care of Australians blighted by chronic pain.

It sounds like a good idea.

Through this item, eligible patients would be able to access MBS rebates for an extended range of allied health services, including physiotherapy, psychology and exercise physiology.
