Let me start by saying I hate payroll tax.  

At Quality Practice Accreditation, where I am managing director, we pay tens of thousands of dollars a year in payroll tax based on our employment of surveyors, who sometimes work only 10 days in 365.

We have paid thousands of dollars to accountants and lawyers for sometimes limited answers to questions like the following:

“Are our doctor surveyors employees or contractors?”
