Will the RACP kick out its disgraced former president Professor Leslie Bolitho?

The general physician was president of the organisation between 2012 and 2014.

One question resulting from the tribunal findings against Associate Professor Leslie Bolitho is his future status within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

The general physician was president of the organisation between 2012 and 2014, having been awarded an AM two years earlier for his services to medical education.

He remains a registered fellow with the college, but the findings of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) earlier this month leave his legacy in tatters.

It found that between 2014 and 2018, Professor Bolitho inappropriately touched seven female interns and registrars while they were under his supervision.
