Many GPs will know Dr Bruce Willett for his sartorial style, particularly the shoes.

The RACGP’s former vice-president suggests the shoes are the only interesting thing about him.

This is clearly untrue.

Last week, he was awarded the college’s highest honour — the 2024 Rose-Hunt Award; or what he describes as “the Gold Logie of general practice”.
