3 medicolegal ‘cuts’ this GP will never forget

The COVID-19 pandemic, with its social distancing and lockdown rules, has resulted in some positives for me.
I’m now exercising every day, I have time to watch YouTube clips of interviews with the Goons and the Monty Python crew, and I’m starting to clean out years of dusty, accumulated paper in my filing cabinet.
While pruning my files, I found copies of a number of ancient, incident notification reports that I had judiciously sent to my MDO, in anticipation of some form of medicolegal reprisal.
The ‘cuts’ I refer to relate to my school days. In those former times, corporal punishment was de rigor, and senior teachers could give the cane to naughty boys.
