Face masks have become a must in all healthcare settings since March, and it’s difficult to imagine that changing anytime soon.
February seems like a long time ago, when a doctor or nurse would be looked at very strangely if you were anywhere but an operating room, walking around in a mask.
I’ve spoken before about how, on a pure human communication level, masks are a disaster for interpersonal skills development.
Of course, we have to follow local public health guidelines and wear them right now, but hopefully this doesn’t last any longer than is necessary.
