China’s COVID-19 cases may have hit 900 million – but its government is still fudging the numbers
Over the weekend, Peking University released a study that estimated 900 million Chinese had been infected with COVID-19 up until 11 January, representing 64% of the population.
This compares with 43% of Australians testing positive, although antibody studies indicate a much higher proportion is likely.
