Cleaning up dog poop – why it's a job for us GPs

When you see things that are not quite right in the world, what do you do?

Does it make a difference if the problem is directly affecting you or if you had a role in making the problem in the first place?

What, for example, would you do about a fresh dog poop in a public place? Especially one that was not of your, or your dog’s, making. Do you:

  • Ignore it and go about your own business?
  • Smell something, but don’t investigate?
  • Try to do something, but find yourself unable to finish the job?
