A fierce debate has erupted following AHPRA’s decision to use the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism to guide its regulatory work.

The debate has focused on the examples of anti-Semitism the alliance offers, which include comparing contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis or denying Jewish people the right to self-determination by claiming that the existence of Israel is a racist endeavour.
