A New Year. Tormenting fires everywhere. Exhaustingly hot. Holiday-makers and locals watching their country burn. The world watches with horror and dismay. Climate-change deniers waffling on, same rubbish for the past 20 years.
What to do?
Well, what I’ll do (apart from shouting at the television) is take up where I left off.
New registrars are soon to start. I have been writing my tips for surviving general practice particularly with new players in mind. They include the Roadmap: the how to get into and out of a consult, and how not to get too burnt (a seasonal metaphor).
