You do not have to do an opinion poll to know that people have no idea what we do.

If you asked the general public, you could bet your bottom dollar that a large majority would say we “write scripts and medical certificates” and that they could “easily do our job”.

You cannot blame them either.

The social media presence of GPs is so lacking that even our colleagues do not know what we do!
