GPs need to stop being such a soft touch

So, the Federal Government, with placid agreement of the RACGP, wants to revamp general practice and introduce patient registration. 

Why? Because the current model of general practice funding in Australia is broken? Yes, it is, but who broke it and are the suggested changes really going to fix it?
