Shortages of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) cause patients inconvenience, and sometimes resurgent symptoms and organising alternatives take up valuable clinician time.
Several MHT products are not PBS listed, creating an equity issue for women when they can’t afford the product that might be most suitable for them.
