Much has been written of late, and all of it negative, about the arduous, time-consuming, unproven and unprovable accreditation process being forced upon the medical profession by the Medical Board of Australia.

But wait, have we misunderstood the purpose of these draconian moves?

Have we failed to appreciate the subtleties and the hidden agenda of its master plan?

The members of the board are not stupid and are, by and large, members of our great profession.
