The past six months have to be the weirdest of my GP career.

I tried to think of a better descriptive word: scary, unsettled, frustrating, confusing, destabilising, exhausting.

However, they don’t quite get the breadth of oddness and I’m going to have to go with ‘weird’.

I’ve been a GP for nearly 40 years and have seen and done some crazy stuff, but for downright and persistently weird, these six months take the cake.
