My GP is retiring. 

I found this news incredibly distressing. 

I’m not sure why, after all, for the last couple of years, I have been expecting that he would either retire or he’d come a cropper while riding his motorbike to Port Douglas.

I’m glad it is the former but I’m sad nonetheless. It’s not the fear of starting off with someone new.
