Old-school lessons: In honour of a wonderful doctor I worked with

I was sad to hear of the recent passing of a wonderful physician I had the honour and privilege of working with.

When I first met Dr Manfred Ernesti, he was already in his mid-80s, and as energetic and dedicated as any doctor I’ve ever worked with.

He continued to practise medicine up until only last year, when he was in his late 80s. (You can read about his extraordinary life here in this Boston Globe article.)

He was highly knowledgeable in many areas and had terrific relationships with all his patients, and would even let them call him at home.
