The equivalent of fast food, ‘pharmaco-mutated medicine’, seems to be on the menu, with the decision to allow pharmacists to initiate oral contraceptives in Victoria to avoid the “hassle” of seeing a doctor. 

What a hassle indeed!

Reminds me of an after-hours request I had years back. The patient decided she wanted to start a weight-loss drug.

She wanted me to have it all written out because she would be passing my way en route to the theatre that evening.
