Thinking back over my three-and-a-half decades of GP practice, I have been surprised by the diversity of things my patients have brought along to me. 

Some of the items presented were meant as aids to help me in diagnosis. 

But others simply defied one’s expectations and provoked a whole gamut of emotions.
