Is pharmacist prescribing reform backed by science or just political donations from the guild?

What was most shocking about Chris Minns and his appearance before the Pharmacy Guild conference last week was not simply hearing his latest expansion of pharmacist prescribing.

It was the language the NSW Premier used about the guild.

He thanked his “great friends”, said he “really loved” their relationship and pledged he would never “back down” in the face of the critics; an unsubtle attack on the medical profession alarmed at the safety risks.

He didn’t mention the $60,000 in donations the guild had recently given his party.
