Let’s do the maths for a fully bulk-billing GP to prove that this supposition is ludicrous.

Four patients per hour for eight hours per day equals 32. Take away half an hour for lunch and it equals 30 per day.

The GP takes an afternoon off per week, bringing the total consultations for the week to 136 patients.
