There’s no place for libertarian doctors in a public health crisis
Readers may remember the recent discussion in AusDoc about the selection of a GP, who publicly opposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates, as a Tasmanian Liberal Party candidate.
Her name was Dr Julie Sladden.
She said she was forced to close her practice during the pandemic because she refused to be vaccinated.
Epidemiological studies from as early as April 2020 had shown only the elderly and those with co-morbidities were at serious risk from COVID-19, she claimed in a Youtube interview with her Liberal Party colleague, MP Russell Broadbent, last month.
