‘Doctors are at breaking point’: A day in Gaza’s last hospital

Relentless bombings and airstrikes by Israeli forces continue to kill hundreds of people across Gaza, while medical staff in hospitals are stretched to their limits trying to provide care to the critically injured.
In July alone, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams have responded to multiple mass casualty incidents at Nasser Hospital, in south Gaza, Palestine.
Medical staff have been pushed to breaking point by the unrelenting waves of injured people.
During these mass casualty incidents, you work frantically in the emergency department, jostled by the crowd of people, all of us standing in puddles of blood.
