We have a PR problem: Medical students are the best, but they don’t see general practice that way

I’ve recently started teaching medical students again. I must say, I’m extremely excited to work with a great university and a motivated bunch of fresh-faced students.
But reflecting upon a few of the introductory lectures I have attended, I have come to an interesting realisation:
Not selecting general practice as a career path is in a medical student’s DNA.
Literally.
