Where are we with COVID-19?

In February this year, I recall being asked by patients and family whether I thought that the virus would be as bad as everyone said.

At the time, I replied: “Ask me in August. We’ll either be okay, or we’ll be in deep trouble.”

It’s now November, and it could be said that we are both.
