When will the dark corridors of the Australian hospital system be safe for female doctors?

There has been a truly miserable run of media stories revealing the ongoing struggles of female doctors to get through the rigours of medical training without discrimination, sexual harassment or, God forbid, being drugged and then attacked at the home of one of their so-called medical superiors. 

Surely by now all this should be a thing of the past given our enlightened age.
