Yes, GPs should be allowed to diagnose ADHD — but I won’t be one of them

I agree with Emeritus Professor Max Kamien who stated in his recent article that GPs should be allowed to diagnose and prescribe for ADHD, which is likely underdiagnosed.

I am but an ancient GP practising adult medicine in Sydney’s CBD.

I see few children but have a good understanding of ADHD and ADD from my family experience.

In fact, my family blames me for their issues, but read on.
