Pelvic mesh class actions settle for $300m

Two class actions against medical company Johnson & Johnson over defective pelvic mesh products have been settled for $300 million, finalising almost 10 years of legal fighting.

In an announcement Monday, Shine Lawyers revealed the mammoth settlement which will be paid to women injured by being implanted with Johnson & Johnson’s pelvic mesh and vaginal tape devices.
