Holding hand

I am now old, experienced and hopefully, a little wiser. Unfortunately, as I now only a play a transient role in the support of my dying patients, I have little opportunity to use my accumulated knowledge.

I have seen so many patients over the years. I remember some clearly, their deaths having shaped my understanding of this inevitable process. They don't haunt me; rather, they mould my values.
