My favourite anticoagulant helper

I've looked at several anticoagulation apps, but the MAQ12 app, released by the University of Michigan, is by far the most user friendly.

The app is simple. It opens with the CHA2DS2 calculator with a baseline annual stroke risk. Adding the CHA2DS2 risk factors adjusts the risk of stroke with a clear graphical representation of the comparative risk between no treatment, warfarin or aspirin.

The HAS-BLED calculator is similar, giving the annual major bleed risk estimation for every added risk factor.

This app also has a dosing calculator for warfarin.
