Review: Technology - Sleep-Tracker Elite Watch

At night, the tracker detects when a person is in a light sleep phase, the most ideal time in the sleep cycle for them to wake. It then monitors these movements and responds with a ‘wake up’ alarm. Over time, the alarm sounds at the same time, training the sleeper to get the most out of each sleep cycle. The tracker can only store one night’s data, which means the patient needs to download the data each morning. The system also allows the patient to record how many cups of coffee or glasses of wine they’ve drunk, as well as their emotional state – whether they’re feeling happy or flat. These two sets of data can then pinpoint what sleep destroyers to avoid and what conditions create optimal rest.
