Doctors cast doubt on joining specialist fees website

Two high-profile obstetricians have cast doubt on whether doctors will sign up to the Federal Government’s planned transparency fee website, labelling it “meaningless” and “unhelpful”.
Dr Stephen Lane, president of the National Association of Specialist Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, said his members were “unlikely” to support the website in its proposed form.
