Both domestic violence and illicit drug use are strongly linked to women having poor control over their reproductive health and seeking abortion, an Australian survey shows.

Researchers for Australian Longitudinal Study on Women’s Health recently surveyed the 1973-78 cohort – some 9000 women now aged in their mid-30s – for the fifth time.
