Early weight loss tied to faster cognitive decline in Parkinson’s disease
Weight loss in early Parkinson’s disease is associated with a decline in cognitive function, according to a study published in Neurology.
Dr Ryul Kim, from Inha University school of medicine in South Korea, and colleagues used data from the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative cohort to examine whether early weight change was associated with subsequent deterioration in cognitive function in Parkinson’s disease.
