Neurological symptoms common in COVID-19

But the biggest study to date suggests deaths from such complications are rare

Patients admitted to hospital with COVID-19 often have neurological manifestations, Spanish neurologists say.

Dr Carlos Romero-Sanchez and colleagues from Albacete University Hospital Complex reviewed the neurological manifestations of all 841 COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals in Albacete in March.

More than half (57%) of the cohort (mean age 66, 56% men) developed some form of neurological symptom, they report in Neurology.
