Postpartum women often know little about pelvic organ prolapse (POP) until it happens to them, a study suggests.

New mothers who shared thoughts on the a forum called ‘BeyondtheBump’ on social media site Reddit complained about the lack of education and lack of support from their doctors on POP and discussed how the condition affected their lives, researchers report in Urology.

US researchers analysed 28 posts with 390 responses posted between 2014 and 2018.
