Specialists recognised for their service to the nation

Dozens of doctors have been recognised in the Australia Day honours for their service to the community.
High-profile names include rheumatologist Professor Rachelle Buchbinder, a leading researcher into arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions, and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons former president Dr John Batten.
MBS Review Taskforce chair Professor Bruce Robinson was also made a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC).
