Long acting reversible contraceptive (LARCs) methods are “the most effective reversible methods of contraception available”, according to RANZCOG.

However, despite the college reporting “high continuation and satisfaction rates amongst users”, the prospect of troublesome bleeding remains a deterrent for some women.

ADG: Some women are reluctant to use LARCs* because they worry about bleeding issues. Is this justified?
