<p>Sienna is a 10-day-old infant brought in by her parents with 24 hours of worsening discharge and a red right eye.</p><p>In the past 12 hours, eyelid swelling has developed and the discharge has been blood stained at times.</p><p>Sienna has also been fussy and more unsettled than usual.</p><p>She was delivered via normal vaginal delivery at term following an uncomplicated, low-risk pregnancy.</p><p>No-one at home has had any symptoms of URTI or conjunctivitis.</p><p>Growth and development have been normal to date.</p><p>On examination, Sienna is fussy and unsettled, with normal vital signs. </p><p>The right eye (pictured) appears swollen, and there is diffuse conjunctival erythema.</p>
